If you ever ask about FPS eSports to anyone, the first name that’ll pop up is Shroud. For his incredible aim and game sense, he is considered the greatest FPS player in the world. While he made quite a name for himself being a Counter-Strike pro, he hung up his rifles in 2018 to become a full-time streamer.

Although he came back from retirement to play for Valorant for Sentinels, his brief lackluster stint made many haters vocal. They criticized Shroud and commented he should have stayed retired. But now the FPS veteran has shared a clip of his recent high-level match in Valorant. And this clip should be good enough to shut haters down.

Recently, Shroud was playing Valorant with 100T iiTzTimmy and DSG steel. In the first match, Shroud was the last player standing for his team, facing a full squad. But the FPS veteran kept his composure and clutched the game by defeating the 5 opponents, along with diffusing the bomb.

In the second match, Shroud had his full team backing him. However, the former pro decided to do the job himself. Repeating what he did in the last match, he executed the whole opposing squad alone.

This performance by the 28-year-old in a high-level Valorant lobby should make the haters quiet. And the fans of the FPS legend are loving it too, asking him to come back from retirement and grace them with this type of gameplay.

Fans react to FPS Legend’s clutch gameplay

The gun-handling skills shown by Shroud have garnered the praise of multiple fans. The chants of “He’s him” are to be found all over the comments section of the Tweet.

User @LostZelda132 has stated Shroud can go on vacation and hit clips the first day he touches the game back. And this performance has also made fans question Shroud’s return to the competitive world.

With a stellar performance like this, anyone would want to recruit Shroud again. And looks like C9 wants to get a jump ahead when their Valorant pro player Zellsis asked if he is looking for a team. Although, iiTzTimmy is claiming him as a teammate early on only.
