Amouranth once revealed how her professor’s advice made her fall in and out of love with costume design, and it’s one interesting story. 

Kaitlyn Siragusa, aka Amouranth, is one of the most versatile streamers that you will ever come across. Be it video games, dancing, ASMR, or anything more, she will always have a new idea for her project. However, that doesn’t mean she reached this level overnight, as it took years of hard work to land at the top stop. 

And well, the world is aware of her early life before streaming and Twitch, but only a handful know how simple advice transitioned her from one industry to another. It was from her time in costume design, with her professor’s words working like magic. 

Amouranth reveals a story from her past about how she charmed the costume design industry 

A year ago, popular YouTuber QTCinderella invited Amouranth to her ‘Cocktails with QT’ show. With the title, ‘Confronting Amouranth,’ the show host dived deep into the ASMR queen’s personal life. Moreover, QT also revealed instances from her past that related to Amouranth, and the two had a good laugh over it. 

But one bit grabbed every fan’s attention as it mentioned an interesting story from the Twitch streamer’s past. Upon asking how Amouranth walked into the costume design business, she revealed, “I was always into Halloween. I would start planning my costume like the day after Halloween for the next year, and then I would start putting it together in the summertime, and then when I started using the internet more, I noticed there was something called cosplay.”

Then, Amo revealed her connection with Houston Ballet and Opera. Apparently, the streamer pursued a course in fashion design theatrical costume design, allowing her to form some good connections. There, her professor claimed, “You really don’t need to be in classes. Like this kind of career, it’s like this kind of career that you don’t need actual schooling for you just need to know people and have a portfolio, and so he recommended me.” 

Now, Amouranth stands as one of the biggest and most popular streamers in the eSports industry.
