On October 24, 2022, Jimmy Donaldson crossed the 50 million mark on one of his social media platforms. He became one of the fastest to cross this number, as he’d spent only two merry years on the platform.

Plus, he was competing against multiple industry leaders, making it much more difficult to reach the elite list. However, we all know that MrBeast never backs down from a challenge as he also follows a similar idea for his content. So, despite having only 257 uploads, the content creator has now walked into the gang of elites.

The past few months have been the best for the YouTuber as he ticked off multiple dreams in his victory book. Starting with the 100 million subscriber mark on YouTube, he also added multiple other viewership milestones in the following months. Apart from that, he scaled both his businesses, going public with physical stores/products for fans. This skyrocketed his business as it became easier to churn profits daily.

Despite being a 2016 app, TikTok rose to success in the first half of 2020. Its short and catchy video upload idea stormed the internet as the world used it to cope with the Covid times. This skyrocketed the app’s reach, catering to millions of fans daily.

Thousands of celebrities joined the party, uploading clips, and videos from their career or making new ones. However, some of them were still to explore this platform, lagging behind in the race. MrBeast was one of the names that were still to taste this TikTok success as he avoided the app for months. However, after looking at its popularity, Jimmy joined the party in May 2020.

Despite being only a month old on the app, MrBeast had already hit his first million as fans loved his content. But then, he faced a backlash as his fan-following remained stagnant for the coming months. This made him think of better content ideas leading him to get back in the game. Vividly, MrBeast has crossed 50 million followers on TikTok with just 257 uploads on the app. He currently holds the 18th position according to the ‘following rank’ and has over 514,100,000 likes to date.

While this looks like a flashy number, for now, it has become a benchmark for the YouTube god. To this, one of his followers also intrigued him with a question, “you think this will ever pass up the main channel?” While the creator chose to stay mum, we surely can expect a lot more.

After all, we all know Jimmy to create records, so it won’t be wrong to predict that he might reach the 100 million mark soon.
