Henry Cavill is a highly regarded actor amongst the gaming community. It seems that he has superhuman charm despite being a gamer himself. This means that he has been the personality that a casual gamer dreams of, while the handsome hunk is constantly making a name for himself and the gaming community.
Thus when a personality like himself is being targeted with baseless allegations it feels like the entire fanbase, and in this case, the gaming community is targeted as well. Therefore, in a recent incident where Henry was accused of having toxic behavior against female co-workers on the sets of ‘The Witcher’, the entire community found the claim to be baseless and without a source. Thus, reacting to that Asmongold also gave his take.

Rumoured artcile about Henry Cavill
According to a recent report, it was said that Henry Cavill was accused of having “toxic” and “misogynistic” behavior against his female co-workers on the set of ‘The Witcher’.
The rumoured article claimed, “He wanted complete control of storylines, but really had no idea of the limitations of TV, structure, budget, etc. He famed a weird alliance with one writer who was also a gamer, who eventually got fired after multiple HR complaints were made. And after that writer left, Henry did anything he could to hold up production and cause problems.”

So pathetic how the showrunners for The Witcher are trying to defame Henry Cavill, when we all know how passionate he is about the source material and how much of a respectful person he is
But of course, the showrunner is a woman, so that immediately means he's misogynistic 🥲 pic.twitter.com/C87fVH9fqe

At the end of the article, it was also mentioned that Henry Cavill was actually removed from the Witcher Production for the same reason.
It was stated, “Eventually top brass at Netflix was tired of him costing them money with delays in HR investigations. And the showrunner was asked to construct a potential exit for him. Netflix reached out to him personally, and he was given one final warning, and violated that warning with an email he sent to the entire writing staff, right after that meeting. That was it.”
The alleged article was revoked: Asmongold’s Reaction
However, apart from this, the reason given for his being “misogynist” was his love for “video games” which was even more doubtful to be considered. Thus the entire gaming community started finding the source of this rumor circulating on the internet.

And after extensive searching, it came to light that the rumor was actually posted by a celebrity gossip account, which was later deleted. Although the source said that they didn’t mean to harm Henry Cavill’s credibility and tried to pin the matter on someone else. It seems that the gaming community is not very happy about it.
Twitch streamer Asmongold was furious about the rumor being spread about Henry Cavill. Thus in a reaction stream, he said, “I don’t care if you put a disclaimer on that or not. I still think that’s kind of bullsh*t, if it affects other people negatively. There should be some level of accountability for this. You put it out, you wanted this man hurt. People now are making opinions about this man you lied [about].”
