If there’s anyone who is seriously having a love-hate relationship with Call of Duty at the moment, it’s got to be Dr Disrespect. Yes, he has expressed his unfavorable opinions for this year’s Modern Warfare II and then Warzone 2 as well, still he has been playing them. Especially the battle royale title, ever since it was launched mid-November in 2022.

However, the latest incident has given another big reason to Dr Disrespect for not liking Call of Duty. This time, the situation has occurred due to the proximity chat (the newest addition to the game) that eventually led to the ban of the Two Time from the battle royale.

Dr Disrespect gets banned from Call of Duty Warzone 2 due to the Proximity Chat feature!

In a recent livestream, the Two Time revealed that he has been banned from Call of Duty. When asked about the reason for his ban from the Warzone 2 game, he told that it was due to the Proximity Chat. “This is not even my account. They banned my other one for seven days for proximity chat use.”

As reported by Gamerant, Dr Disrespect mentioned that the makers believed that he spammed the proximity chat feature by overusing it. And thus, they banned him for a duration of seven days. Hence, he was seen playing the battle royale from his secondary account.

Moreover, he kept expressing his anger over Call of Duty for banning him. That’s also because of an upcoming tournament based on Warzone 2, which will be worth $100,000, according to Dr Disrespect. Maybe he is about to participate in it. “You’re gonna ban me right before a $100,000 tournament? It’s insane how out of touch these people are,” he revealed during the livestream.

This is not the first time, however, that The Doc has reacted in such a manner. His rift with Call of Duty has been going on for quite a long time now. Sometimes he’s seen criticizing the gameplay mechanics in the latest installment from Activision and sometimes he gets furious at them for not inviting him to their events.
