Golden House hosts an event in the wake of the Asia Pacific American Heritage Month. The event focuses on the most influential Asians and Pacific Islanders in American society and culture.

Valkyrae was invited to the event alongside popular celebrities such as the Rock, Simone Ashley, Charithra Chandran, Chloe Zhao, Destin Daniel Cretton, Domee Shi, and Hwang Dong-hyuk.

 Valkyrae has been one of the most followed Twitch streamers since 2020. She is a full-time streamer at OfflineTV alongside her dear friend Pokimane. Throughout her time in the industry, she has contributed immensely to League of Legends and other titles, such as Bloodborne and The walking Dead. She has 1.1 million followers on Twitch and is considered an inspiration to many.

On 21st May, Valkyrae walked down the prestigious carpet as the Golden House Co honored her on the list of 2022’s most impactful Asians & Pacific Islanders. It was the first time Rae set foot on the golden carpet. Thanks to her Twitter post, we all saw her glow. Valkyrae wore an emerald green satin gown with her hair and makeup by a popular artist, Telly Morente.

What is Golden House Co event!

As we all know about the Asia Pacific American heritage month, an organization called Golden House releases a list of the most influential Asians and Pacific Islanders. It is done in collaboration with the API leadership annual list to honor the best in society. 

There are five different categories considered for this event. They are activism, advocacy, and politics; business, technology, and innovation; entertainment; lifestyle; and sports. The list of honors is based on people who have the most impactful potential.
