I’m pretty sure most lie detector videos are like that, including this one that we did. Polygraph tests have been proven to not really work. It was like what’s your name? Is your name Jack? And I said no and it said wrong. I was like my name is Sean. Like from the very first question I was like this is b**s*it, I can do whatever I want it doesn’t matter,” Jacksepticeye stated. For context, the controversy had begun when the man had made some allegedly derogatory comments against MrBeast during a video featuring a lie detector test.

The creator openly expressed the non-seriousness of the lie detector test. And he further claimed the test to be intended for fun but most of the answers were actually perceived in the wrong way. Thus, the YouTuber gave a deeper insight into the context of the statements he made during the video.

The dig was meant for creators copying MrBeast

Adding to his side of the story, the creator explained the honest intention of the statements. “Polygraphs clearly don’t work and then Tommy asked me if I like MrBeast. For reference in my mind, MrBeast is not Jimmy, MrBeast is the content on the channel. So, in my brain, I’m like I don’t like the content. He probably doesn’t like my content, that’s totally fine. That’s not me saying no one should make that content. That was like personal preference.”

And going on with the justification, the latter pointed out that the comment on MrBeast ruining YouTube was actually meant for the copycats of the YouTube King. I said yes. I don’t really think he ruined YouTube. By saying that I mean everybody who copies him is putting YouTube in kind of a weird spot. If anything YouTube has ruined their own platform, not him,” he added.
