YouTube Pulls the Plug on Discord’s Most Popular Music Bots

No longer will the community see Groovy and Rythm bots on a discord server. It is indeed the end of an era, as these two fantastic pieces of music served the community for over 5 years. Apparently, the creators of these bots received a similar legal notice from YouTube that compelled them to pull the plug.
It has not been disclosed just yet what caused the video-sharing platform to take action against these harmless AI beings.
The community is indeed in a complete state of shock and disarray as these music bots just breathed their last. The creators of these bots provided final parting messages to address the community and why they had to shut down. Grovvy’s creator, Nik Ammerlaan, delivered a final parting message on the official discord server and stated the bot will no longer be operational after August 30th.

The team behind Rhythm also received the same legal notice from YouTube
According to a blog post shared by Rhythm bot’s team, YouTube is not happy with the way these bots work. It seems like more legal notices will roll out in due time, targeting every other music bot that exists in Discord’s ecosystem.
However, Rhythm bot’s team has promised to roll out a fantastic piece of news that fans will definitely appreciate.

No one truly knows about the actual motive behind this series of attacks on those innocent music bots. It seems like these things have somehow violated a few crucial terms and conditions of the video-sharing platform. If this turns out to be true, then more such shutdowns can be expected in the upcoming days.
