Ludwig reveals massive announcement following a petty Twitter feud

After the postponement of GENESIS, “the Super Bowl of Smash” which is the largest Super Smash Bros. tournament, many players were left infuriated due to the inconvenience caused. But one particular individual threatened to take legal action. This triggered Ludwig, who is also a former Super Smash Bro. Melee professional player and commentator, to step in.

Despite Ludwig’s efforts to convince the individual to resort to better ways than to threaten the people in charge of GENESIS, the player did not budge. Ultimately, leaving the former ‘Golden Boy’ of Twitch with no option but to compensate monetarily on the tournament’s behalf. But here’s the catch!

After the back and forth on Twitter, Ludwig banned the “rude” individual from any tournaments the YouTuber plans to organize.

This led to the announcement of the fourth chapter of “THE LARGEST ONLINE SMASH EVENT”, Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 4.

Ludwig is all set to organize “the largest online tournament of all time”, LACS 4, with an impressive prize pool of $30,001. The tournament will take place this month-end, on January 29-30. And players from all around the United States region (US, Canada, or Mexico) can participate for free.

Additionally, the tournament is also set to be the “Top 10 largest tournaments in terms of prize pool” with over 834 players signed up at the time of writing. It will include some of the best players in the world participating in raising money for the Genesis team.

Ludwig, in the announcement video, admits, “out of pettiness, I spent thirty thousand and one dollar [$30,001] on running the 10th biggest tournament of all time just to spite some a****** on Twitter”.
