PewDiePie is one of the biggest streamers ever. But he switched tracks to a family-focused life after marrying his long-time girlfriend Marzia Kjellberg back in 2019. The 33-year-old Swedish YouTuber has been semi-retired since 2020. But he has kept his fans up-to-date on the major events in his life, and now the announcement fans have been waiting for since February 2023 is finally here.
The YouTube power couple revealed in February that they were expecting their firstborn in July. Weeks of teasing the baby’s gender and arrival have come to an end with PewDiePie’s Instagram post announcing the child’s arrival. The post contains some really heartwarming pictures of the new parents with their baby.

While fans were trying to figure out the baby’s gender, the streaming community flooded the Instagram post with comments congratulating the new parents. Many streamers like jacksepticeye, gabsmolders, akidearest, and more left well wishes in the comments.
Though fans are happy about the news, they don’t expect to see Felix back on YouTube anytime soon considering his words in the vlog he posted a couple of weeks ago.

In PewDiePie‘s June 29 vlog, the soon-to-be-dad spoke about his excitement over his child’s arrival in the concluding segment. He said, “It’s getting very close now. Very close to becoming a dad“, and also mentioned how he didn’t know what it was going to be like before going into further detail about his hiatus.
He seemed as excited about the challenges of parenthood as he ended the vlog with, “Is it going to be chaos? I don’t know”. Thanking his viewers for enjoying his vlogs, PewDiePie stated he might not have the time to upload videos and that he will take a “little break” before getting back to his regular uploading schedule. Fans bid him a bittersweet adieu in the video’s comments and reminisced on the YouTuber’s journey.
