As reported by the organization Game Rant, xQc had taken a break from streaming after attending TwitchCon 2022. It was learned that even though he had been avidly streaming after the convention, on October 13 he wasn’t seen live. Puzzled by this, the community was worried about his absence.

Following this, he acquainted the community that he had recently got positive tests twice for Covid-19. Nevertheless, while he took a rest from streaming, he kept his engagement at the topmost level. xQc kept communicating with the community by publishing tweets and videos, which became a hub for his fans to exchange replies. Meanwhile, the fans got the chance to be closer to their streamer while he recovered.

Now, streaming is a form of profession which requires constant engagement, if not mandatory.
