Austin did not intend to hurt the fans of the PlayStation 5 console

The American YouTuber holds a massive fan following of nearly 5.2 million subscribers on the platform. He has been putting out technology-related videos for well over a decade and has a great grasp of them. He offered clarification about his recent comments about PS5 and why he came to that conclusion.

The YouTuber stated that the missing weight was a big red flag that simply cannot be ignored. He cranked the console open and found that Sony had significantly reduced the size of the heat sink. His findings did not bear good news for the fans as the downgrade hurt the console’s capabilities.

He also stated that the reduced surface area and the material will not help the console transfer heat away from the device. The cooling apparatus is significantly smaller than the original device. This is why the heat sink reports did not favor the newer models, as the console simply did not have enough material to deal with the heat.
