British YouTuber and rapper, KSI, was about to lock horns with his arch-rival, Alex Wassabi, this month. Unfortunately, the latter pulled out of the boxing fight just a few days ago, due to an injury.

Now that his main opponent is not willing to fight him, KSI has opted to go against a comparatively fresh boxer in Swarmz. He will make his debut against JJ Olatunji when the two go head-to-head towards the end of August. Before the match itself, Olatunji tried to make things clear by giving his own reasoning for choosing Swarmz and not any other popular boxer.

KSI tweets ahead of the upcoming match after Alex Wassabi opts out of an awaited boxing fight

Olajide Olayinka Williams was set to go against Wassabi and many fans were eager to lock horns with each other. After all, he wanted to avenge his brother Deji’s defeat, who had lost a match against Alex.

However, it was Wassabi who ultimately decided to take his name out of the anticipated fight. Obviously, KSI had no option but to look out for an alternative in order to ensure the fight card went further. Interestingly, Jake Paul had offered to fight him, for free, in the UK at London’s O2 arena on August 27.

Simply put, he just wanted to convey that the August 27th fight isn’t going to be the ‘be all and end all’ kind of scenario. There are many more matches on the way in the coming months, for which he’s very excited.

Talking about his opponent himself, then Swarmz has never fought a boxing match before. He will be making a big debut in a near-sold-out match when he appears at London’s O2 arena in the UK. KSI has previously released a hit track with Swarmz, titled Houdini.
