For the past few years, the giveaway culture has been gaining traction in the content creation world. Recently, Kai Cenat announced via his Instagram that he will be organizing a huge giveaway at Union Square Park, NYC. Over 2,000 people arrived at the location, hoping to get a gift, or just interact with the influencer. But this mob of people blocked the traffic, leading to unmitigated chaos. Cenat was later removed from the scene by NYPD and charged with inciting a riot.

Kai Cenat has since been released from jail. However, there is a lesson to be learned from this. The NYPD claimed this giveaway was not done in coordination with them, which led to all the havoc. While Cenat attempted to recreate a giveaway at the level of MrBeast, he did not plan it through like the 25-year-old.

MrBeast is well known for organizing over-the-top giveaways by coordinating with his team and the local authorities. He organizes these giveaways regularly on Thanksgiving and Halloween to gift deserving fans. But even after meticulously planning them, somebody throwing a spanner in the works could cause disarray.

The times MrBeast’s events went south like Kai Cenat’s giveaway

MrBeast has shared in the past how some of the events he organized did not go as planned. The day he opened his first MrBeast Burgers restaurant was one of the most stressful days for him. Furthermore, over 3 years ago, he was also sent out of multiple convenience stores for not having proper permission to film.
