Millions love Nintendo’s iconic, The Legend of Zelda franchise. And among those, there’s a popular celebrity who also likes this gaming series. And she’s none other than Euphoria star Hunter Schafer. A few days back, on the Euphoria season 2 red carpet premiere, the actress expressed she would love to play Zelda’s role in a live-action Zelda movie.

It’s true. In the premiere, the reporter asks Schafer about a viral TikTok where this fan wants her to play Zelda in the franchise’s movie adaptation. To which Schafer mentioned, it would be really cool to play an Elf. In fact, she also stated it’s a good game, and she played it for a bunch of hours in her childhood.

Moreover, here’s what the reporter asks Schafer, “Have you seen a TikTok gone viral about a fan wanting you to play Zelda in a live-action movie based on what your wore to the vanity fair party?”

To which Schafer joyfully replies, “I mean yeah, that would be cool like an Elf, yeah. And I mean, I have played that video game a bunch of hours as a kid. That’s such a good game.”

Undoubtedly, its wonderful news for the fans. And the community indeed would be delighted to have the beloved actress play Zelda if there’s a Zelda movie in the future. Moreover, this tweet has already turned some heads. Over the comment section, the fans have expressed their views. And many mentioned Schafer’s just beautiful and perfect for the role.

The highly anticipated sequel to Zelda Breath of the Wild had a release window of 2022. But unfortunately, Nintendo delayed it to 2023 as the game needs more development time, leaving the fans disappointed. Moreover, Nintendo’s yet to announce further details. And besides a trailer, the fans know nothing about the title.
