Genshin Impact is one of the most popular gacha games in the industry. The awardee of the Players’ Voice at The Game Awards 2022, the fans gave strong support to the title. This support is reciprocated by HoYoverse in the form of new events and in-game attributes. While we have The Lantern Rite going on for version 3.4, the developers seemed to have made their own spinoff of Pac-Man in Genshin Impact.

Rumors have already surfaced regarding version 3.5. Though the players know of the arrival of the new 5-star Pyro character, Dehya in the next version, there will be three banner re-runs alongside her banner.

When talking of events, there have been leaks as to what version 3.5 will bring. Faruzan hangout event, Windblume v2, Archon Quests and more will be arriving in version 3.5. Surprisingly, a new leak has suggested an event to enter the game inspired by the legendary arcade game, Pac-Man.

Reddit user u/detto_grie proved the respective leak in the Reddit thread Genshin Impact Leaks. Though the success rate from the Reddit thread has been good, the leaks become speculative until an official announcement arrives from the developers. Nevertheless, the leak does show in-game screenshots of the event.

As shown in the screenshots of the post, one can see paths, in the library of the headquarters of Knights of Favonius, similar to those of Pac-Man. Talking of similarity, one can also see the ballons on the maze-like pathways like the arcade game. One thing that cannot be forgotten is the presence of monsters. In the Genshin Impact spinoff, it seems that monsters like the Fabulous Fungus Freny will be raiding the area.

There also seems to be a portal that might take the player to the next stage. One thing that couldn’t be seen were power balls or abilities but might be added till the events arrive officially. All in all, the leak did excite the players. Events become a great way for developers to entertain their fanbase and expose them to the new genres of gaming inside the game itself like the Genius Invokation TCG.
