As reported by the media outlet ESPN, Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following his tackle of Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. He was provided with CPR on the field and had his heartbeat restored on the field. After that, he was taken to a Cincinnati hospital and currently is in critical condition.

Following this, the authorities suspended and postponed the match. While everyone seemed to be okay with the decision, Bayless put forward his thoughts resulting in him getting angry comments on his tweet thread.
