The recent prime-time Sunday night game between Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions saw a really unexpected twist to say the least. It was because of a trash-talking session in which Aaron Rodgers was talking harshly about the Lions and Jamaal Williams didn’t show any interest at that time because he wanted to go home and play Pokemon.
But to be honest, it was mostly about showing results rather than bantering back to Rogers that made this confrontation of Williams with a journalist interesting. However, one thing that stood out was actually a mispronunciation of the word “Pokemon” by the reporter, which made Jamaal Williams even more upset than Aaron Rodgers trash-talking about his team!

Recently at the start of this year, Aaron Rodgers was seen “trash-talking” about Detroit Lions, despite the fact that he is one of the most well-known players of the sport and has more wins than the Lions over the years. But what was considered rude by the Lions team and fans indefinitely, Jamaal Williams said that he does “care” about what Aaron Rodgers said, since he just wants to go home and play Pokemon.
When a reporter asked Williams about his take on Rodgers’ statement, he simply said: “I don’t watch TV. ’m trying not to cuss. I don’t care. I just want to play football and go home. You’re holding me right now. I just want to go home and play Pokémon.”

He, however, got really upset just after a second when the reporter annoyed him by saying “Pokeman?” , to which Williams replied by saying this: “You can’t disrespect Pokémon like that. Pokéman? You sounding old. I don’t know what cards you got. They must have sucked cause you calling them Pokéman, but it’s fine. My bad. I’m sorry.”
Aaron Rodgers gets taunted by the Lions
It is, however, speculated that he was actually talking about the recently released Pokemon titles Scarlet and Violet. But what was even more interesting was that the Lions won the game against Green Bay Packers by 20-16. Also, the victory was a clear reply to Rodgers as well.
