Millionaire MrBeast Who Recently Bought 1111 Powerball Tickets After Hitting 111 Million Subscribers, Had Also Done Something Similar Back in 2020

MrBeast has always been the talk of the internet for his insane and entertaining videos. The YouTube idol recently hit 111 million followers and wanted to celebrate this feat by trying his luck at the Powerball lottery. Jimmy purchased 1111 Powerball tickets to commemorate his achievement, but this is not the first time he is trying his hands at the lottery.

In 2020, Jimmy spent $1,000,000 to try his luck with scratch-off lottery tickets. The overwhelming number of tickets was carried to MrBeast’s set in big trucks. And it took his team an insane amount of time to go through heaps and heaps of scratch-off lottery tickets.

MrBeast was aiming for the jackpot of $10 million

His primary aim was to hit the jackpot of $10 million. He announced that he would give ten percent of that to his crew if they were lucky to win it. It took three days for the entire MrBeast crew to sort through 120,000 tickets.

Unfortunately, no one from his team could get the golden ticket. Though the effort didn’t go to waste, as MrBeast was able to garner around $720,000 from the massive pile of lottery tickets.

MrBeast who is always known for his big-hearted giveaways, also gave 70 grand to his crew, which was 10 percent of what was spent to buy those tickets. The fun didn’t end there. Jimmy used this money to buy a private Island to make a survivor quest. And just like always, he planned to give the winner of the survivor task an insane prize, which was the Island itself.

This is not the first time Jimmy created an insane challenge like this, and sure it’s not going to be the last one. He recently spent about $2.5 million to purchase a Jet. He used this expensive aircraft as the prize for his challenge that had 11 YouTubers fighting for a chance to own this Jet.

MrBeast is having the time of his life thanks to the quality of his content. He recently won the Streamy’s Award for Creator of The Year for the third time in a row. He will also be featured in a collaboration with Fortnite during Season 1 of Chapter 4.
