Fortnite’s The Foundation has caught a lot of attention (and praise) ever since he was introduced to the storyline. Played by Dwayne Johnson, the character instantly became a hit. Moreover, Dwayne Johnson will reportedly feature at the upcoming Summer Game Fest (June 9) to talk Fortnite and promote his upcoming movie. 

Fortnite is, no doubt, one of the most popular Battle Royale titles of all time. The success of the franchise could be attributed partially to regular updates, new content, and exciting cosmetics that fans can collect. However, we also love the premise, which although is complicated, has been carried forward gracefully.

Every now and then, Epic Games introduces intriguing in-game cosmetics as a result of exciting collaborations. The most popular skins are usually of fan-favorite celebrities like Marshmello, Major Lazer, Ninja and more. Now, we also have The Rock featuring as The Foundation. 

Ever since the mysterious character showed up in the game, fans have been speculating about the celebrity behind ‘The Foundation’. The speculations were all cleared at the end of Chapter 2 when The Foundation took off his mask!

Among all the video game speculations surrounding the upcoming Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to announce that The Rock will be appearing at the event. As fans may already know, Johnson has announced his involvement in a new movie that is based on ‘one of the biggest, most ba**ss’ video games. 

“We’re going to bring one of the biggest, most ba**ss games to the screen—one that I’ve played for years. I’m really excited to bring it to fans around the world.” The Rock had proclaimed in an interview with Men’s Journal earlier this year.

At the Summer Game Fest on June 9, we will be hearing Johnson talk about his role as The Foundation in Fortnite. He will also be speaking about his upcoming movie based on a popular DC comics character, Black Adam. Some fans cannot help but speculate an upcoming Fortnite collaboration with Black Adam. A perfectly plausible expectation!

It is possible that The Rock will reveal a few exciting details about his mysterious video game movie in the Summer Game Fest. After all, the SGF is all about video games and surprises, and The Foundation is just as mysterious!
