The energetic YouTuber IShowSpeed got one of his biggest wishes fulfilled to meet the Portuguese and Manchester United Soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo. But he was left disappointed soon after his wish came true.

Darren Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, is among the most renowned young rising YouTubers. The Ohio-based YouTuber is famous for his eccentric and energetic personality. He has over 10.1 million subscribers, and all his streams get hundreds of thousands of views.

IShowSpeed finally meets ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’

IShowSpeed has grown a great interest in football over the last few months. He has taken a great liking to the Portuguese soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo. He has even self-proclaimed himself as his biggest fan, despite still calling him “Christian Ronaldo.” Speed has even embraced Ronaldo’s iconic celebration “Sewey” on which the young YouTuber also made a song.

One of Speed’s biggest wishes is to meet Ronaldo. The 17-year-old also attended two matches of Manchester United in the hope of meeting his idol, but to his disappointment, the player didn’t feature in either of them. So, he still dreams of meeting the soccer icon. Everyone even thought it would happen when Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand promised him a meet with CR7. But that hasn’t happen, yet.

In a recent live stream, his friends fulfilled his biggest dream of meeting Ronaldo. Speed was full of joy and excitement to meet his favorite soccer player. He even did the iconic ‘Suii’ celebration with Ronaldo. However, Speed wasn’t aware that it was a Ronaldo lookalike that his friends arranged to fool him.

Speed breaks a TV in disappointment

Soon IShowSpeed started doubting whether it was the real Ronaldo. So, Speed asked, “Wait, speak Portuguese real quick.” He repeatedly asks the Portuguese icon to speak his native tongue but he refuses to do so. Instead, he asks him to show his excellent soccer skills. The fake Ronaldo was hesitant at first but couldn’t avoid his constant persuasion.

After failing to display the skill moves, Speed was sure it was not the real Ronaldo. A disappointed Speed smashed a PS5 box and broke a TV nearby in rage. In the end, the 17-year-old barks at Cristiano Ronaldo’s lookalike. Even the fans felt bad for the YouTuber and wished he gets to meet the Portuguese soccer star someday.
