Amouranth has slammed Kick and its controversial creators, calling them out as ‘problematic children of the classroom.’

A few months back, popular streamer Trainwreckstv announced Kick, a new streaming platform for creators. After Mixer, this was the second attempt by a company to stand as Twitch’s biggest rival. And well, things worked well for the owners as multiple streamers transitioned from Twitch. But then, a dark shadow lingered upon the platform as people raised issues with the content. Mainly, they felt Kick to have ‘extra liberty,’ allowing streamers to feature NSFW content.

And similar to the community, ASMR queen Amouranth also turned out to have the same opinion as she voiced during an interview. In an exclusive conversation, the ‘Twitch Queen’ revealed how Kick could fall under the belt due to its recent decisions.

What does Amouranth think about Kick?

During an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Amouranth revealed her hot take on Trainwrecks’ streaming platform Kick. She said, “I think it’s hard to start platforms like these, so I feel for them.” But diving deep into the topic, she stressed how the platform’s decisions are making their reputation take a pitfall.

“Hiring huge influencers. Unfortunately, the huge influencers are like the problematic children of the classroom. So, they are causing a bad rep, more like giving a rebellious vibe,” she said. Moreover, Amouranth also spoke about how Kick initially started to host gambling streams, so it could be better if they set that straight in the guidelines.

This opinion from the ASMR queen hinted towards Adin Ross’ recent controversy, where he streamed NSFW content on Kick. ” I don’t think their intention was ever watching p*rn, so I feel bad for them,” she claimed.

Last but not least, Amouranth concluded the bit by talking about how Kick could possibly change their guidelines. After all, she believed that if the organization were to set out a clear set of guidelines, creators would stay in line and not take things too far.

Plus, there could be a possibility that it could harm the revenue split in the long run – given that they share a 95 – 5% split, which is appreciated by creators. Because if this continues, Amouranth believes that Kick could watch itself burn in the coming time.
