While Calum Hill and Grant Forrest came out on top after Round 3 at the Hero Open 2021, Frank Kennedy just might’ve stolen the show. The young golfer is only 15 years old and was out making his European Tour debut. Frank Kennedy wows with his final-hole birdie

Kennedy birdied his last hole in the second round in the tournament and made the cut on his European Tour debut. He was one-over-73 in Round 3, with three birdies, two bogeys, and one double-bogey. He went and even-par-72 in Round 1, and scored one-under-71 in Round 2 with four birdies and three bogeys.

Hero Open Round 3 results

On the other hand, we have Forrest who finished in the top with a 10-under-62 score, which came with six back-to-back birdies, along with four more towards the end. As Round 3 came to an end, both Forrest and Hill were 18 under par and at leading the leaderboard. While Hill did have two bogeys stall his rhythm, he recovered soon with two birdies. Including Law, we have three Scottish golfers ranked in the top five going into Round 4.

“It was one of those days, with a bogey start as well and you’re thinking it’s not an ideal start,”

“The first couple of days I played nicely but couldn’t get anything going and didn’t really make a putt. Today I changed my putting grip and I made pretty much everything. I think Lucas’ putter from yesterday might have rubbed off on me a little bit!”.
