Former world no. 3 Elina Svitolina has been a name frequently heard on the women’s tour. In her career so far, the Ukrainian national has won 15 WTA singles titles. Ever since she first won her maiden title in 2013, Elina has made constant progress in her journey.

In 2014, at the Australian Open, Svitolina defeated two-time Grand Slam champion Svetlana Kuznetsova in the opening round in straight sets. The year after that, she made it to her first-ever quarterfinal at the grand slams. At the Rio Olympics 2016, Svitolina scored her first win over defending champion and the then-world No. 1, Serena Williams, in the pre-quarterfinal round.

Recently, Elina posted a short clip on her Twitter account. In the clip, the Ukrainian is seen biting into a bar of chocolate held by her boyfriend and French tennis player, Gael Monfils. In that post, she stated, “Every single Kindle in this house is mine.”

The pair began dating back in 2019. During the Australian Open that season, Monfils revealed that he was in a relationship with Elina. He was seen in her player’s box for her matches after he was eliminated from the tournament.
