There is often a debate about who is the better player in tennis. Roger Federer – The King of the Grass and Rafael Nadal – The Master of Clay. Although a young F1 star snubbed both of these multiple Grand Slam winners, to pick Australian star Nick Kyrgios.

McLaren F1 star Lando Norris had to choose between two of the greatest players in the history of Tennis ahead of the 2022 F1 season. While he had his Aussie teammate Daniel Ricciardo for company, Norris turned to him for some advice.
When ESPN put him on the spot, Norris asked Ricciardo, “Who’s the Australian tennis player?” To this Ricciardo replied, “[Nick] Kyrgios?” Lando further affirmed that he picks Nick Kyrgios over Federer or Nadal. It was a tough call to make to pick Kyrgios who was ranked outside the Top 100 in February 2022.

Though since then, the Aussie has gained a lot of ground by reaching the Wimbledon Finals this year and also improved his ranking to #22. Krygios reacted in an elated manner to Norris picking him over the famed duo of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
He tweeted to give a surprise shoutout to Lando, “My f*cking guy!!! Keep being you and inspiring brother” It must have been an exciting moment for Nick.

Tennis stars mingling with F1 drivers have been quite regular off-late. Lewis Hamilton often interacts with Roger Federer and his old friend Serena Williams. Although it might be a tough situation even for him if he is to choose between two top stars of the game.
Besides picking Nick Kyrgios, Lando Norris navigated a Tough “This or That” Rapid Fire
Lando Norris answered several questions similar to the Federer-Nadal choice when ESPN cornered him. Some of the primary questions were related to F1 too. The best one of them when Lando got speechless was picking between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

On one hand, it was his countryman Lewis and on the other, his Belgian-Dutch brother Max. After some thinking, Norris picked Verstappen. Besides the 2021 title rivals, he also had to choose between Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. Lando rather easily picked Senna on this one.
Then he picked his favored track between Silverstone and Monaco, which was quite easy as the Briton picked Silverstone. When choosing between Mercedes and Ferrari, Lando was cautious to say Mercedes as they have the Silver Arrows as their engine partner.
And eventually, there was the soccer GOAT question on Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Norris gave it a thought and picked Ronaldo.
