Mick Schumacher will make his debut with the Haas F1 team in 2021. However, things could have been different for the F2 champion, as he was rumored to join Alfa Romeo, but it didn’t end up happening.
However, there is a genuine reason for Mick not joining Alfa Romeo. It is because the team principal wanted to stick with their current driver lineup for the new season. As he kept his faith in Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi for the new year.
Former F1 driver now pundit, Martin Brundle thinks he knows why Schumacher was never chosen to make his debut alongside Raikkonen. Instead, the 21-year-old will be teammates with Nikita Mazepin at Haas.
