The driver jetted off to Bahrain ahead of the second round of testing before the season opener on March 20th. Sainz uploaded a story on Instagram with Charles Leclerc ahead of take-off saying, “Number 1 bull**** guy.” VistaJet offers access to over 80 super-midsize, long-range and super-long-range aircraft across the world.

Ferrari had a resurgent 2021 season finishing 3rd in the Constructors’ Championship. The team accumulated 5 podiums in total, with debutant Sainz finishing in the Top 3 on 4 occasions. However, the team’s long run for a race win continues. The Scuderia last won a Grand Prix back in 2019 at the Singapore Grand Prix.

The Scuderia have been impressive in pre-season testing in Barcelona, completing 439 laps with Leclerc topping the charts on Day 2. However, the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes are set to bring in major upgrades ahead of testing in Bahrain. The Tifosi will be excited as the new regulations come into place this season.

Team Principal Mattia Binotto has admitted that the car will remain unchanged in Bahrain. His aim will be to optimize the F1-75 and maximize the progress made ahead of the first race. He said, “[Our car] will not be much different compared to what we have got. The first step for us is to optimise what we have,” said Binotto in Barcelona.”

“We are still far from the best performance, not only because we are running high fuel, or not the best engine mode but simply because there is a lot to exploit on the car itself. Certainly, in Bahrain, I think it will be more the performance; the relative competitiveness of the teams will be more clear.”
