This gradual trend shows that social media has gained a place among the racers. Presently, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc featured in SportsPro’s list of the 50 most marketable athletes.
The Briton and the Monegasque were the only racers from the grid to make it through. Though Lewis Hamilton’s name doesn’t come as a shock, Leclerc’s name raises a few eyebrows.

The list by SportsPro considers a specific series of parameters to determine the list. It focuses on “vast amounts of social media data to generate an Athlete Influencer Score comprising four key data points: relevance, reach, return, and resonance.”
They base these four genres on the content of the user. The appeal it receives from the masses, and the number of people the content affects.
