Nico Rosberg once again got the better of Lewis Hamilton, but this time as a team owner. The former F1 world champion owns the RXR team in the Extreme E series, which became the world champions. Rosberg celebrated the championship with his team in a different manner.

The Monaco-based former F1 champion celebrated in the mud with his team. The Extreme E series took to social media to showcase the winning celebrations. In one comment, someone asked whether Rosberg will retire again after winning the championship against Hamilton.

Rosberg replied in a fitting manner,” I‘m 50/50 at the moment! Just don’t want to give him a chance to get the title back.”

Nico Rosberg recalls the moment he decided to retire from F1
Nico retired from F1 after winning the championship in 2016. This meant that Lewis Hamilton did not get the chance to win the title off him. Rosberg revealed that the thought of retirement came to him instantly as he crossed the line in Abu Dhabi.
“Two meters after the line in Abu Dhabi. If you ask me, ‘When did you decide to retire?’ That was the moment,” said Rosberg on when he decided to retire.

Well, it would be interesting to see if Rosberg continues in the Extreme E series as the team owner, but he has made no announcements yet. It looks like Lewis Hamilton will get his chance to win back the title in Extreme E unlike in F1. What is your take on this rivalry?
