Formula 1 will feature the first-ever Miami Grand Prix as the latest addition to the 23-race calendar in 2022. The world-class 5.41 km F1 track will offer the highest speed of 320 km/h with 19 corners and 3 DRS zones. Miami becomes the first circuit to be designed by and with the support of Formula 1. The 2022 calendar plans to hold the inaugural Miami GP between 6 to 8 May, right after the Imola GP.
The organizers are building an exciting new layout at the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens. Notably, it is home to the NFL’s famous Miami Dolphins franchise and is named the Miami International Autodrome. Miami Grand Prix CEO Richard Cregan told Formula 1 that they have already received 150,000 inquiries of tickets even before they announced the dates.
