Verstappen ranks 27th in Forbes’ 2021 list of the world’s highest-paid athletes. According to reports, his earnings for this year amount to $42.5 million. The 24-year-old sources his earnings mainly from salary and winnings, which amount to $41.5 million. He has earned $1 million from endorsements.

The seven-time world champion has a base salary of $55 million and when combined with the on-track winnings, it shoots up to $70 million. The Briton earns handsomely from endorsements as well, which amounted to $12 million in 2021.
