A painful defeat for Hamilton at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The Abu Dhabi GP was the title-deciding race between Hamilton and Max Verstappen. As soon as the lights went out at the Yas Marina, Hamilton stole the lead from the Red Bull driver.
However, it wasn’t over just yet for the Brit, as Red Bull’s Sergio Perez tried to hold off the Mercedes driver in order to help Max retake the lead. But, the Knight overtook the Mexican driver further extending his gap from Verstappen.

But, as the race headed into its closing stages, a safety car was brought out, which resulted in the pack of drivers being bunched up together. After a controversial decision by the FIA, both the title contenders were neck-to-neck as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix headed into the final lap of the race.
