FaZe Clan Announces the Winners of the FaZe5 Challenge

After a six year-long hiatus, FaZe Clan has restarted its FaZe5 challenge. The popular eSports organization conducted this challenge annually to induct five members to the team. At the end of every year, the organization picked 5 out of thousands of content creators who competed to join the clan.

FaZe Clan came fourth on the Forbes list of organizations with the highest valuation in 2020. FaZe has an ongoing partnership with the NFL. Moreover, it also had a few successful merch drops in addition to its rosters performing really well. Therefore, the clan’s net worth stood at a whopping $305 million by the end of 2020.

With all this money in its bank, the clan could go all out and recruit the most popular creators all around the world. Hence, with a prize of $100,000 and bonuses from its partner G-Fuel, the hunt for five winners began in September.

With the conclusion of 2020, FaZe was ready to announce the five winners of the FaZe5 challenge. Moreover, the first place winner stood a chance to win a car from Nissan.

FaZe Clan decides to have six winners for the FaZe5 challenge as a New Year’s Bonus

Thousands of creators from all around the world submitted video content on Twitter with the #FAZE5 hashtag. However, FaZe had picked out the top by December 28. Since then, it had been announcing the winners from the official FaZe Twitter account. As the program was rebooted after six years, it also gave a New Year’s bonus by announcing six winners in total.

In the first place was Faxuty, the Fortnite pro/content creator who became big while playing with a controller.

In the second place, FaZe chose VIRUS, who is a Call of Duty streamer partnered with Twitch.

For their third pick, the team chose Flea, an Australian Fortnite creator with over a million followers on Twitch.

Coming in fourth was Nio, another Call of Duty streamer known for his sniping.

A shocking fifth-place winner is the 14-year-old Fortnite pro from Argentina, k1ng.

Finally, the bonus sixth winner is Scope, another Call of Duty sniper and a fan-favorite participant.

With this, FaZe wrapped up the list of all the winners for the FaZe5 challenge. All these winners were really excited to be a part of one of the most famous eSports clans in the world. Finally, they would be a wonderful addition to the clan and a perfect New Year’s gift to their fans.
