The Esports industry has been bounteous for all its stakeholders. This proliferation has come in different ways but the most exciting news is the attention and recognition from the Silver Screen. Ninja recently admitted that he was eyeing Hollywood as his next move. Turns out, he has company.

FaZe Clan is one of the world’s biggest Esports organizations. A member of the organization, Brian “FaZe Bug” Awadis’, is set to make his acting debut in a feature film. This will be a part of the FaZe Clan Cinematic Universe.

“I am beyond excited to star in my first film! This is a dream come true for me. The idea to blend the world of Youtube content into traditional films is a creative adventure that I’m so proud to be a part of,” said FaZe Rug.

FaZe Clan: A Move to the Cinematic Universe

FaZe Rug is a prominent member of FaZe Clan with over 27 million subscribers across all his digital platforms. He started his journey with Call of Duty before he joined FaZe. Since then, he has enjoyed a lot of success and has been an indispensable part of the organization.

The feature film in question has some credible backers in Invisible Narratives, led by former President of Paramount Adam Goodman, and film producer Andrew Sugerman. This marks another collaborative venture in the gradually growing relationship between the gaming industry and show business.

FaZe Clan CEO Lee Trink was understandably excited and proud of the development.

“It’s his time and it’s our time. This is the moment where YouTube and Hollywood finally collide. Not only do we have an incredible team and thoughtful concept to take the leap from the smallest screen to the largest screen, but FaZe Rug is also the perfect lead actor to kick it off.”
