The main event of UFC 250 will see Amanda Nunes take on Felicia Spencer at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Amanda Nunes is the UFC woman’s GOAT(Greatest Of All Time). She has quite literally gotten to the top and never left. And she is now standing at 5 years undefeated within the octagon. She currently holds a record of 19-4-0. This will be her maiden featherweight title defense and opposite her will be standing Felicia Spencer.
This match is being built up to be one of the most interesting woman’s title fight of the year. Billed as Brazil vs Canada, a lot is riding on this fight.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Felicia Spencer discussed her upcoming bout against Amanda Nunes and what her chances are against this dominant force. Helwani posed questions that asked Spencer to put herself in comparison with Nunes.
Helwani asked, “Amanda is obviously incredible, she is on an amazing run. She has defeated every single person who has ever held the 135 or 145lbs title in the UFC. In your opinion though, what is her greatest weakness?”

Felicia Spencer had a great answer. She said, “She’s fighting me! I feel like she’s the GOAT for a reason. She’s got amazing… Everything! She’s very well rounded.”
So clearly there is respect for the GOAT. She(Felicia) doesn’t rid away from the fact that Nunes is currently the best in the woman’s rankings and no one else comes close. But she now goes ahead and points out the stark difference between her and Amanda Nunes.

She said, “I feel like my style and just like my pressure and just how I fight will just be too much, over time. I always want the first-round finish but I don’t expect it every time. I feel like this is going to be a longer fight.” Further, she said, “I can see it being done before the five rounds, but if it needs to be a five-round grinding, and a hard fight then it will happen and I’m ready for it.”

Felicia Spencer feels she can get the better of Amanda Nunes with her pressure and will take whatever she has to throw at her in return. But in no way is she walking in the lesser of the two. She’s confident and prepared for a 5 round duel with the GOAT.
