Also, Canada’s upcoming tennis star, Auger-Aliassime has withdrawn from Rolex Paris Masters 2019 owing to the same reason. 

The rising star from Canada, Felix Auger-Aliassime was drawn to open against Andrey Rublev from Russia. With Auger-Aliassime’s withdrawal, the top-seeded qualifier, Alexander Bublik will open against Rublev.

For the rest of the tennis season 2019, World Number 18, Auger-Aliassime is scheduled to play NextGen Finals 2019 and Davis Cup Finals 2019 in Madrid, Spain. 

This year, Auger-Aliassime played against Benoit Paire in the finals of Lyon during the month of May. After losing, he dealt with a groin injury and later withdrew from French Open 2019 owing to the same reason.

The 19-year-old, Felix Auger-Aliassime reached three finals on the ATP circuit in the 2019 season. He made it to finals at Rio, Lyon, and Stuttgart, but he is yet to open his ATP title account.

Previous at Shanghai Rolex Masters 2019, Auger-Aliassime lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the two tough sets. World Number seven, Tsitsipas finally claimed his first victory over the young Canadian after falling to him twice this year at Indian Wells Masters and Queens’ Club.

At Davis Cup, the Canadians have a strong line-up which includes, Milos Raonic, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Denis Shapovalov, and Vasek Pospisil. Two North American nations, Canada and USA are placed under the same group. They will compete against each other and against team Italy to reserve a place in the quarterfinals of Davis Cup Finals 2019.
