Mick Schumacher was not the only high-profile name at the post-Bahrain GP test. Another familiar face returned to the F1 paddock, Fernando Alonso. This time, he was actually testing the car.
Fernando Alonso is currently on a quest to win the Indy 500 and thus, complete the coveted Triple Crown of Motorsport. He is still associated with McLaren in a ambassadorial role, inspite of not driving for them.

McLaren’s current crop of drivers include, former Renault driver, Carlos Sainz Jr, and McLaren young driver, Lando Norris.
So far, Sainz has been on the receiving end of some bad luck in the past couple of races. However, Norris has been very impressive, even scoring a fine 6th place in Bahrain.
