Liverpool signs Roberto Firmino

Liverpool has reportedly confirmed a five-year deal with the Brazilian star Roberto Firmino. The Hoffenheim genius, also a target of Manchester United, joined Liverpool and is considered as a possible replacement for Raheem Sterling. The Reds have roped the Brazilian from Hoffenheim for £29 million deal.

His rise to fame has been extremely rapid under Dunga, who called him to the Brazil national team, where he went from strength to strength and established himself as an indispensable member of the team.

The 23-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder recently scored for the national side in Copa America which helped the team to the quarters. A very talented player as he is, with 10 goals and 12 assists to his name, he played almost every game for the Bundesliga side.

The agent of Hoffenheim forward has confirmed that his client is moving to England next season.
