Five Nights at Freddy’s Franchise Gets a New Title

Sony announced a host of exclusive titles that would be coming to the PS5 during the latest showcase event. Among those was Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. The game comes as the newest addition to the FNAF franchise of horror games. FNAF is probably the most popular series of horror games. Furthermore, the game has also received many positive reviews for delivering the most frightening scares to its players.

Hey, kids! Do you want pizza?! Well, Fazbear Entertainment has spared no expense developing the world’s most extreme family fun center – Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex! With an introduction like that, one can only expect how eerie the game is going to be. Usually eerie doesn’t work, however, it’s the bread and butter of the FNAF franchise. Furthermore, the trailer does justice to the idea of this game.

The game appears to be set in a pizzeria. Among the locations, we can see an abandoned warehouse, a defunct kitchen, a flashy arcade, and a retro lounge. The trailer doesn’t disappoint in terms of graphics. It appears that the developers have done an extremely great job designing the game.

In another good news, Funko, the toy house has already released merchandise for the game. While the trailer didn’t describe in detail who the characters in the game are going to be, we can get a rough idea from the action figures released by Funko.

Included in the leak were Freddy Fazbear, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator, Chica and the rabbit Vanny. The trailer also hints towards the existence of more characters including the female narrator, ‘Gregory’, his friends, and another male voice which said, “Be still, I think she found us.”

There has been no further news but considering the expected release dates of all the other games in the starting lineup of the showcase event, the game can be expected to release around mid-November.

Steel Wool Studios and ScottGames are working together again to bring the next gaming chapter in the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe. It will be exclusive to the PS5. Although it would also be available on PC at launch, it would not be available on any other console till 3 months after the game comes out.
