We are just a few days away from witnessing the clash between the dynamic Rolando Romero and the unforbidden Gervonta Davis. Both the athletes spent their major careers under the Mayweather promotions, but now it’s time for farewell for the Tank on May 28. It’s a big question regarding Floyd Mayweather
In a conversation with FightHype, Rolly put forth his views when asked about Mayweather’s preference among the two contestants.

Romero says,“ Man, I just think I’m much more marketable and apparently he doesn’t have a contract with him anymore, so. I am pretty sure they want me to win.“
According to Rolly, the promotional team and Mayweather will favor him over the senior boxer, Davis. Rolly thinks he is a more marketable personality, which will yield more money to the promotional team.
Rolando Romero is famous for his banter, which brings him into the light of people. Hence, making it a logical candidate from a promotional perspective.

On the other hand, the contract with Tank is due, which means he is no more of a benefit for the Mayweather promotions, which makes Rolly more preferable to him.

Mayweather has supported both the fighters making their careers better. It is a query for the boxing fraternity about Mayweather’s preference in this match. His favorite boxer from the promotions? Or his future champion from his promotions?

‘The Best Ever’ has trained and developed the game of Davis and Romero. Despite having less amateur experience, both the boxers have ruled the ring with knockouts.
Gervonta Davis is the current lightweight champion with a clean record of 26-0. Mayweather has not only trained but also shared a good bond with him. Whereas Rolando Romero is the prospect of promotions, which will mint them more money.
It will be a tough decision for Mayweather to choose between his beloved fighters whom he groomed to dominate the ring. Well, we will soon get to know the answer to this query on May 28.
