There is certainly a clear divide between Tottenham and top competitors like Manchester City. Given the lack of silverware and chances looking slim, the English captain has made it clear that he might be angling for a move away from London to win more awards.

Nuno Espirito Santo speaks about the latest future of Harry Kane

While there is no stopping the Kane rumors and him possibly joining superclubs like City or Madrid, Tottenham are seeing a clear change in their front office as they have brought in a new coach in Nuno Espirito Santo.

The former Wolves’ coach has been a revelation in the premier league and his team was often known as the giant killer in the Premier league. Santo, recently sat for a press conference and explained the status of their talisman. “Harry Kane is our player. That’s period. No, no need to talk about anything else. Now is the moment for Harry to recover his energy to rest.”

“When Harry comes again, we will time to speak, to have good conversations but like I said.”Now is the moment for Harry to rest to, to prepare for what’s coming. I’m looking forward for him to join the group and start working together.”

The Spurs certainly do not want to lose their talisman in Kane. Not only is Kane a bonafide superstar, the Spurs can try to build an able supporting cast around him and hope that they can succeed.

Getting the English striker will also be a very challenging for rival teams as well. With Kane under contract and given the form the 30-year-old has shown, he can be a pretty costly buy for rival teams and other European super clubs. Can Tottenham convince Harry Kane to stay with the team or is the Englishman’s departure from ‘the Lillywhites’ imminent?
