This announcement means big things for Manchester United as they look to build up on their terrific form last season. Bruno Fernandes will now be supported by not only Edinson Cavani, who has recently broken into the team, but also an experienced young star in Sancho who has made his name known to the world already.

Jadon Sancho is the solution to United’s declining wing threat

With Rashford and Martial also hoping to find more solid roles on the team, the United attack will be somewhat of a spectacle to watch. Jadon Sancho played 26 Bundesliga games for Dortmund last season in which he scored 8 goals and assisted 12. In the Champions League, he played 6 matches in which he scored 2 goals and assisted 3.

He struck up a great partnership with wondered Erling Haaland throughout the season, which is why Dortmund will have some big boots to fill. United on the other hand can finally fill in the wing space it had been lacking deeply over the last seasons.

A huge thorn in the Red Devils’ side is the apparent departure of midfielder Paul Pogba. The Frenchman is a shadow of his national form and with him likely to make an exit, reports have linked Bayern Munich’s key player Leon Goretzka to United.

As it stands currently, Solskjaer will have to rely on Scott McTominay and Donny Van De Beek alongside Bruno Fernandes in the midfield. With a solid number 9 in Cavani, Luke Shaw will also enjoy contributions from his crosses.
