With the 2022 FIFA World Cup coming up in Qatar later this year, many individuals, including soccer legend Pelé, want to see Neymar & co. lift the trophy. The Brazil national football team has won the FIFA World Cup on 5 different occasions. This makes them one of the most successful teams in this tournament’s history.

But Brazil has failed to lift the trophy in the last four FIFA World Cups.

Pelé is one of the greatest football players of all time. He played for Brazil in four FIFA World Cups, winning three of them. Recently, Pelé made an emotional post on Instagram. He posted a picture of himself holding a FIFA World Cup trophy.

In the post, Pelé also noted, “Are you ready for another World Cup? I know I am. I really want to see our team lift this trophy once again.” 

Pelé has been a role model for several Brazilian footballers. He had given the people of Brazil many memorable moments. Now, it is their turn to fulfill Pelé’s wish of lifting the 2022 FIFA World Cup trophy later this year.

Brazil will go into the 2022 FIFA World Cup as title contenders. This is not only because of the talent in their squad. But this is also because of their recent form and their excellent FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign.

Tite’s players are currently at the top of the FIFA rankings. Also, Brazil remained undefeated and topped the table in their FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying campaigns. But Neymar and co. will face some serious competition from other top teams such as France, Argentina, Germany, and Spain.

Brazil have been placed in Group G in the group stages alongside Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon. All these three teams have several talented individuals in their squads who possess the ability to make a major difference in any game.
