The 28-year-old certainly put on a show in his loan spell with West Ham. Given the skill-set he has, he can be deployed in multiple positions in the United setup. Be it him playing as an attacking midfielder or in a free flowing role, Lingard can excel in any role.

While United do have some talented midfielders, an addition like Lingard will be welcome to any side. But given the form he has shown, West Ham might go all in for the midfielder.
