Former Manchester United Forward And 2 Time World Champion Tobin Heath Moving to Arsenal

Former Manchester United forward, Tobin Heath, has decided to sign with Arsenal. Being an Arsenal fan, the 33-year-old decided to leave the Red Devils early this summer. Agreeing to a free transfer, the 2 time World Cup winner confirms her signing with her new club.

The 33 year old American international has previous represented clubs in the United States as well as PSG in France and Manchester United in England. Heath has been described as “perhaps the USA’s most skillful player” by the United States Soccer Federation. Not only this but also, she was awarded the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year in 2016.

Tobin Heath decides to join the Gunners

Heath won gold with the USWNT at the Summer Olympics in Beijing and London.On top of that, she claimed the first position for the USA’s women soccer team at both the World Cups in 2015 and 2019. There, she scored a total of 31 goals and made 41 assists. Last year, the forward was also named in the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World11.

Nevertheless, this summer, she decided to leave the Red Devils. She spent one season at United and managed to score four goals in 11 appearances with the club. The club secured one point less than the Gunners in the recently concluded WSL season. Although her time with the club was limited due to injury, she did produce some good results.

Keeping in mind her incredible feats, it is to be expected that she will have a great career at her new club. The American will surely be looking forward to linking up with a talented Arsenal side, featuring the brilliant Vivianne Miedema. The Women’s Super League is lucky to have retained such a talented and experienced professional.
