Force India has confirmed that it is most likely to miss the second testing in Barcelona from 19-22 February as well after being the only team to miss out on the ongoing Jerez testing.

After initially displaying the new livery of the 2015 car-VJM08, Force India decided not to participate in the Jerez testing declaring that the learning options would be limited and that it will focus itself entirely towards the second test in Barcelona. But now it has confirmed that the new car won’t debut until the final testing in Barcelona, but unlike Jerez,  the team will participate in the second testing with their 2014 car. “Although everybody is working towards getting the VJM08 to the next test session in Barcelona, it’s more likely the new car will appear at the final Barcelona test,” the team said in a statement. “ So, that would mean running the 2014 car at the first Barcelona test.”

With Force India being the only team without a car launch in 2015, rumours about the financial stability of the team have been doing the rounds. Whether anything as such is true, still needs to be seen.
