Without a doubt, Ayrton Senna is one of the most legendary drivers in Formula One. The Brazilian is revered in his country and even in Japan, courtesy his McLaren Honda stint.

Recently, portrait artist and sculptor, Paul Oz, created a statue of the late Brazilian. The statue is life-size, made of bronze and weighs 160 kilos. It portrays Senna in his McLaren gear, and according to Oz, he is seemingly driving through Eau Rouge at the Circuit de Spa Francorchamps.

The attention to detail is absolutely incredible and it really brings the driver to life. The bronze statue took Oz eight months of toiling, but the end result was definitely worth it. Oz attempted to capture a sense of movement.
