Fortnite 15.30 Update Patch Notes Reveal 3 New Exotics, Free Rewards, and More

The highly anticipated 15.30 update for Fortnite is finally here, and as expected, there is a ton of new content for players to explore. The update has not only introduced new POIs, skins, and weapons to the game, but laid the foundation for the ending of Chapter 2 Season 5.
Considering the two new skins are named Lovely and Cuddle King, it seems like this update’s theme centers on Valentine’s Day. Both the skins are a part of the Be Mine set, and players can claim the former for free through an upcoming tournament. Fortnite has a long history of celebrating February 14 with adorable skins and events, and from the looks of it, 2021 won’t be any different.

Bounty hunting has been pivotal in the current season, and the latest Mando’s Bounty LTM treads the same path. Players start out with three lives and collect galactic credits by simultaneously eliminating opponents and handling the Mandalorian. The first one to reach the destined credit goal wins the match. As a Victory Royale reward, the winner will receive the Beskar Umbrella skin.

New POI and Weapons
After weeks of anticipation, Epic Games has added a new POI based on Star Wars. Rumors had earlier claimed that it would only be available for the LTM’s. However, it is now confirmed to be a part of all the game modes.
In a recent video, YouTuber TheCampingRusher- Fortnite talked about the update and reviewed some gameplay on the new POI.
The three new weapons in Fortnite following the 15. 30 update are:
- Chug Cannon
- Burst Quad Launcher
- Frozen SMG
Considering that there have been certain changes in the music playlist, it is safe to assume that Fortnite will also host a live event soon.
Fortnite Creative gets a huge buff following 15.30 update
It comes as no surprise that Epic Games has laid the foundation of improving Fortnite’s Creative mode already. The developers look forward to building a legacy in 2021, and Creative mode is the first step in the right direction.

The Creative mode will now offer the following items, settings, and weapons:
- Phone Booth device- lets players switch outfits anywhere they want
- End Game device
- Lever Action Shotgun
- Start With Pickaxe island setting- decide if players can bring a pickaxe to a gunfight
