Over the weekend, the Galaxy Cup took place for android users. If you placed in the top-ranked players in your region, you would get the female Galaxy Scout outfit. Major map changes in the game

For starters, Slurpy Swamps is now almost above the water with only a few parts being under. One more water level drop and the place should be fully accessible. Rickety Rig and the Fortilla may stay a part of the map permanently. Sweaty Sands is still very much underwater and with mostly be fully accessible by the last water level drop.

Thanks to twitter user SizzyLeaks, we have the final version of the Fortnite map that will be available soon. It will also finally reveal Atlantis. If the update drops on Sunday, we could possibly see the Atlantis reveal then.

Ali-A also provided an update on the boss locations from the previous season. The shark is a lot smaller than the last season, run-down, and doesn’t even have a name. Deadpool’s yacht also looks like an abandoned place now but still has good loot available. The Grotto is now permanently filled with water and is basically inaccessible. The Spaceship is still underwater but is expected to surface soon. Ali speculates that this will come with a lot of new challenges and will be the base for a space-themed Season 4.

He also believes that big changes might happen in Weeping Woods. At the end of last season, the game saw Mushrooms added in Weeping Woods. There was also a gold mushroom added this season that is not in the game anymore. You could interact with blue mushrooms in the previous season where dancing in front of the mushroom activated it. The mushroom then gave you 2 shield per second if you were at a certain distance from it. These still exist in the game but cannot be interacted with. Check out the video below to understand how it worked before

That’s all from the recent map changes in Fortnite. Remember that the final event is just around the corner so keep an eye out for further updates.
