Despite being a Battle Royale game, Fortnite has maintained a very complex storyline over the years. It revolves around the Zero Point, and every season, someone tries to harness this massive energy source. However, disrupting the working of the Zero Point always leads to unusual activities on the island.
Chapter 2 Season 6 is no exception, as several unexpected incidents have taken place on the island up till now. In the cinematic trailer, we saw Agent Jonesy leaving the Imagined Order and joining forces with The Foundation.

The mystery behind The Spire in Chapter 2 Season 6
The Fortnite island is currently full of pre-historic references such as Raptors, Primal weapons, and widespread jungles. Amidst the primal regions, there are many Spire towers, each with its own guardian.
An NPC named Tarana seems to be only one who knows how to study The Spire with the help of a device. Players had to complete certain quests, only to discover that Tarana’s brother, Raz, has stolen it.
After accessing the device from Raz, we could talk to the Foundation who is stuck inside the Zero Point. He just says two words, “Jones Knows.”
With this information, we talk to the several Agent Jones NPCs on the map. Only ‘Jonesy the First’ drops a valuable hint regarding the storyline, by revealing that Raz has utilized The Spire to become powerful. However, in the process, he turned evil and became almost unstoppable.
The next big challenge for players in Chapter 2 Season 6 was defeating Raz. After doing so, they could get their hands on The Spire artifact, which was interestingly a shard from Kevin the Cube.
Why are aliens coming to the island?
Jones the First, in one of his voice lines, had warned, “Go now, before The Spire, attracts any more attention from the-.” During this time, no one could decipher this warning. Many believed that Jones is talking about the Foundation, while others claimed it to be regarding the Imagined Order.
From the looks of it, Agent Jonesy was actually talking about the aliens from other planets. Apparently, when Raz used The Spire, it generated such a massive amount of energy that it attracted alien species. Their arrival is self-evident from the damaged telescopes spread across the map, and CB radios that broadcast Dennis and Mari talking about UFOs.
Moreover, players have reported that POIs like Colossal Crops and Stealthy Stronghold have UFOs that can abduct anyone randomly.
